The improv is.. knowing your character and all other characters and being able to interact with an audience in character. It's thinking on your feet and such.
You're a suspect for a murder, and the audience members are all detectives.

This week will also be the auditions for MURDER IN PARADISE - the murder mystery dinner theatre production being presented in February.

So to wrap that all up for you guys.....

COSI auditions have also moved to Thursday and Friday. They will be pared with IE auditions.

Prepare a monologue no longer than one minute. Preferably showing off your comedic skills.

You guys make me so proud! I sat in the audience and was blown away... What fantastic work. The horrible part...is that no one would believe me about how amazing it was--truly, nothing I say would be enough. No one would believe me. From beginning to end it was absolutely wonderful. It shouldn't surprise me. But you guys did. To everyone who made it happen-those onstage and off...Congratulations! Director Fatty should be very proud indeed!!
I miss all of you! and still hate you with a deep unfathomable love.

Hey everyone!

Just throwing it out there to the Theatre Department that University Of Central Florida has one of Florida's top Theatre programs. BA Theatre Studies, BFA Musical Theatre, BFA Acting, etc. are all available! Danielle Barnes is up here as a BFA Musical Theatre Major and I'm here for a BA in Theatre Studies (more geared towards film, you could say). Check out the website: http://www.ucf.edu and you should most definitely apply! Fall and Spring auditions basically guarantee you a position in an onstage, front of house, or back of house job. The campus is amazing, the theatre facilities are great, and the people just rock. Best of luck finishing up high school, and I hope to see your name on a UCF Playbill!
